Extenders & Curatives Overview

Extenders can be used in a number of ways. Some are excellent fillers and help to reduce overall product cost. Some are blends of polyols and additives or catalyst packages to take the guess work out of processing. Let us know what you need and can help you select the right product for your application.

EXT – 1000 Series

The EXT-1000 series are short chain extenders and EXT-1006, for example, is a popular choice for use with Xthane IE and IT series prepolymers.

EXT – 3000 Series

The EXT-3000 series are trifunctional short chain extenders.

EXT – 4000 & 5000 Series

The EXT-4000 series are polyether polyols blends. The EXT-5000 series are polyether glycol blends based on polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG).

EXT – 6000 Series

The EXT-6000 series are polyesters and polyester based blends to be used in conjunction with prepolymers to produce polyurethane.
