Poly S Polyesters

Poly S is the itwc designation for polyester. It is followed by the molecular weight and the additonal letters identify the type of polyester. For example, Poly S 1000EBA is a 1000 molecular weight ethylene/butylene adipiate.

• DA = Diethylene Adipate
• EA = Ethylene Adipate
• EBA = Ethylene Butylene Adipate
• EPA = Ethylene Propylene Adipate
• PA = Propylene Adipate
• PAR = PDO Adipate – Renewable Resource

Poly S Polyesters

Polyesters are often selected for urethane applications when abrasion resistance and resistance to grease and oil are important requirements for the success of a finished product.

BA – Butylene Adipate

Available in molecular weights of 700, 1000, 2000, and 4000.

DA – Diethylene Adipate

Available in molecular weights of 2000, 2300, 2500 and 3000.

EA – Ethylene Adipate

Available in molecular weights of 700, 1000, and 2000.

Ethylene Butylene Adipate

Available in 1000 and 2000 molecular weights.

Ethylene Propylene Adipate

Available in 750, 1000, 2000 and 3200 molecular weights.

PA – Propylene Adipate

Available in 2400 molecular weight.
