Modified Dicyclohexylmethane 4,4′ diisocyanate (HMDI) prepolymers

IW Series – HMDI Prepolymers

Product codes for HMDI prepolymers begin with the letters IW. The third letter is a C for caprolactone, an E for PTMEG, or a P for polyether polyol. The two digits indicate the target NCO range. If there is a third digit, there are two or more choices for the NCO range. For example, IW-P261 is an HMDI prepolymer that is polyether based with a target NCO of 26%.

17.9 to 18.5% NCO

Viscosity of 1000 at 25°C

Other grades available are IW-E12 and IW-E20.

Polyether polyol based HMDI prepolymer

25.8 to 27.0% NCO

Viscosity of 400 at 25°C

IW-T18

Polyester based HMDI prepolymer

17.8 to 18.2% NCO

Viscosity of 1600 at 25°C

IW-C20

Caprolactone based HMDI prepolymer

19.8 to 20.2% NCO

Viscosity of 700 at 25°C
